Andre Johnson just went down and is doubtful for next week. I would probably do it, especially if you only start 2 WRs. I wasn't high on Alexander to begin the year and am no more interested in him.

You have the right idea, but get something better than Edge for Alexander. If worst comes to worst, Eric Johnson is a very good fantasy TE. You do have too many WRs though and moving Galloway currently is a smart move. Try Alexander and Galloway for LT and see what happens.

LT is my #1 RB haha.

Damn if you have LT and Alexander than just ride it out to the trophy haha. Or try and get Addai for Alexander. Who do you have at QB?

I have bulger at qb. I just think that gates is at solid as it gets at te and he can produce numbers every week and that's something I can't get with eric Johnson. And if I have lt with James backing him up, Steve smith Andre and gates...ill be pretty stacked at every position. And moving galloway at this time is perfect after his big game

Gates over Johnson is nice since Gates is on another level but Johnson is still a starting TE on most fantasy squads and a top 5 TE IMO. It's an upgrade but you aren't really hurting with Johnson. Edge is a step below Alexander but not a huge step. Try offering Galloway for Gates and see what happens. Or Johnson and Galloway. I'd try both before downgrading at RB.

Jake how can you say Eric Johnson is a top 5 tight end? Can you please explain because I dont even think he is a top 10 tight end....

1. gates
2. heap
3. gonzalez
4. winslow
5. shockey
6. cooley
7. crumpler
8. davis
9. witten
10. clark

Johnson is a pass-catching TE in an offense that racks up passing yards. He has shown in the past he can catch a TON of passes and he is Brees' first option when pressured. The first two games have been tough on the Saints' offense and Johnson has still caught some balls. When things get better, Brees will find the big guy over the middle. Gates, Gonzalez, and then Johnson is in the category with Heap, Winslow, Shockey, and Cooley. Crumpler is off the list for now since Vick was in love with him and Harrington isn't as much. Dallas Clark may be in that group I just mentioned...

nice.. i agree johnson is a decent option at tight end but i dont think he will find the end zone as much as guys like winslow,shockey,heap,cooley.... so I would put Johnson somewhere in the 8-12 range of tight ends. Thats just my opinion though, thanks for your input

Thanks for yours as well. People won't agree on everything but the more opinions we have in here the better. More info = more trophies. :toast:

how the hell he get that team? is this a 6 person league... even then it dont make sense that Alezander would drop to pick 12 (considering it being a 6 team league) and he took LT with pick #1, i would like to see those draft results

this league is a 8 man league and i had #1 pick. i took LT #1 and chad johnson and steve smith with my next 2 picks. i then traded chad johnson and cedric benson for shaun alexander and santana moss. i figured i could spare ocho since i had andre steve smith and galloway.

ahhh i see....the top 4 or so backs that drafted first have been a real disappointment so far IMO in my eyes this year...If i was sitting with alexander and had the chance to aquire Gates, the top notch player at a position and not lose much by doing so, i would in a heart beat, not to mention, Edge will put up the same numbers as Shaun if not better..Gl this season, personally i would accept that trade...hola

Andre Johnson, WR HOU
News: After being ruled out for Week 3's game vs. Indianapolis, the Houston Chronicle reports that Texans coach Gary Kubiak said that Johnson's worst-case scenario would be missing five weeks because of his sprained left knee. "I'm very optimistic, especially with a guy like him who's a really hard worker and very well-conditioned player," Kubiak added. "If anybody should make it back quicker than the doctors think that he can, it's probably that guy. So I'm going to be on the optimistic side."

Hopefully thats not the case for you sir :ohno:

well this trade went down the drain since the guy decided not to in the last minute. but instead i ended up trading the same guy galloway and santana moss for gates which i think is a better deal for me.

now i have the decision of trying to trade out gates for another #1 WR to go along with steve smith and andre johnson since gates is a highly sought after player right now. is it a good idea to have both gates and LT in my starting line up?? what do you guys think??

Gates is head-and-shoulders above any TE and has the value of a elite WR. I would start them both.
